African Library Project 2025!

​​​February 2025 found us once again partnering with Dublin Coffman High School to help collect books for the African Library Project.  It was an honor to be working with Mrs. Melanie Hitsman, Library Technical Specialist, Mrs. Kate Hastings, Media Center Specialist and Simon Groves, Co-Chair of the project.  We surpassed last year’s contribution of 714 books with an overwhelming total 1013 books! Also included were puzzles and board games.  The monetary funds donated will cover the entire shipping costs, and the books and games will allow an entire primary school in Malawi to have a library to call their own.  Dublin Coffman High School is truly grateful to our parents for their generous donations, compassion, service and global thinking. We plan on partnering with them again next year, so please hold onto those gently used books, puzzles and board games.  Together, we will put them in the hands of those who need them.
